“Volunteer to Help 4” is an ongoing European Solidarity Corps project that brings together international volunteers to support education, social inclusion, and community engagement in Craiova and Balș. The project currently involves 11 volunteers (8 in Balș and 3 in Craiova) who are either in the process of their mobility or have recently completed their activities. Volunteers are actively involved in organizing weekly non-formal educational sessions in schools and kindergartens, including Colegiul Ștefan Odobleja and Școala Gimnazială Traian in Craiova, as well as Liceul Petre Pandrea, Colegiul Tehnologic Balș, and local schools in Balș. These sessions focus on important topics such as social inclusion, EU Youth Goals, sustainability, and active citizenship, using interactive and participatory learning methods.

In addition, volunteers organize public events and awareness campaigns in collaboration with local partners, including Casa de Cultură a Studenților din Craiova, Biblioteca Județeană „Petre Pandrea” Balș, Asociația Langdon Down Oltenia, Centrul Educațional Teodora, Life is Better with Friends, Biblioteca Județeană „Alexandru & Aristia Aman” Craiova, and Direcția Județeană de Sport și Tineret Dolj. These activities aim to raise awareness, strengthen community ties, and encourage active participation among young people. Through their work, volunteers contribute to creating inclusive learning environments, promoting European values, and empowering young people to become active members of their communities. “Volunteer to Help 4” continues to build on previous project results, reinforcing long-term impact and sustainable community development in the region.
