STAGES: 3 mobilities of 3 months each
· A1: 01.08.2018 – 29.10.2018 – mobility with partner countries – Volunteers: 6 – 2/country: Jordan, Azerbaijan, Russia
· A2: 01.11.2018 – 31.01.2019 – mobility with programe countries – Volunteers: 6 – 2/country: Italy, Germany, Spain
· A3: 01.02.2019 – 30.04.2019 – mobility with partner countries – Volunteers: 6 – 2/country: Italy, Ukraine, Georgia
The project is an EVS youth mobility that involves 3 mobilities of 3 month with 6 volunteers sent by 9 partners:
A1 – 01.08.2018 – 31.10.2018 – 6 volunteers such as 2 per country: Jordania (Youth Network for Deevlopment and Innovation), Azerbaijan (“Bridge to the Future” Youth Public Union), Rusia (Sfera Movement)
A2 -01.11.2018 – 31.01.2019 – 6 volunteers such as 2 per country: Italia (Scambieuropei), Spain (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe- LEON),Germania (Solaris Center for the promotion of youths and environmental issues),
A3 – 01.02.2019 – 30.04.2019 – 6 volunteers such as 2 per country: –Georgia (Georgian Youth for Europe), Italia (CEMEA del Mezzogiorno), Ucraina (Kharkiv Association for active youth “Stella”)
The aim of the project is to answer the need of increasing the number of blood donnors and to adopt an healthy life style, through volunteering activities that are including young people with fewer opportunities belonging to NEET category.
The needs addressed:
– of increasing the ooportunities of getting a job for EVS volunteers – to Craiova’s community to stimulate the civic spirit of blood donnors
– to the educational need of citizens taward an healthy lifestyle
The activities of the project
Creating the Red Bracelet 2 Club – this club will represent an umbrella under which the activities will be taken, making sure that will be very visible in the community in order for the local volunteers to continuie it’s activity also after the project will finish, through the local volunteers that will be members
2. Blood donation campaigns – the volunteers will organize 2 campaigns / stage – 1 in Craiova and another one in other city
3. Activities inside the Blood Donation Center of Dolj County – the volunteers, divided in teams, will offer support in the daily activity of the center by keeping a good communication with donnord basically
4. Journalistic activities: writing articles, creating photo-video reportages, update the website of the project and the Facebook page, create info brochures regarding blood donation, launching monthly the E-Magazine that will offer information related with healthy lifestyle
5. Organizing public events in order to agttract local volunteers and in order to send the message of the project in the local community
The profile of the volunteers: Young people belonging to NEET category, with less opportunities for getting a job and that are not involved in specific activities in the last 6 months (unemployed, without entrepreneurial activities, without being involved in an learning/educational program), aged between 18-30 years, motivated to become EVS volunteers, interested in working with the target groups of the project and in working with people coming from other cultures, having basic English communication skills, available for the proposed activities and dates. We will respect the principles of EVS Chart regarding unlimited access of young people to occupy the vacancies of the project. We appreciate that the present project will have an semnificant impact on local communities thanks to the dissemmination strategy used by the promoters, anticipating that the new local volunteers that will join the project will continue the activity of the project through the Red Bracelet 2 Club.
